ICA(INTERNATIONAL CHAIN OF AWARENESS CONFERENCE)

everyone! I know, I have not written anything for along time but I have enough
time to write my experiences and articles anymore. ‘Cos you know, I’m currently
on vacation(half term). :)
Yes, I’ve mentioned about ICA(International Chain of Awareness Conference) before and right now I’ll be giving you some info about it. ICA is a conference which is created by some ENKA Schools students and a student based international organization to find solutions to global, environmental and health-threatening issues set by the United Nations as the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).
There are 7
committees which are trying to create action plans. The global problems are:
Water Deficit, Global Warming, Education, Gender equality, Child Mortality,
Ecosystem Losses, Poverty & Hunger. My school(Karsiyaka Anadolu Lisesi) was one of the schools who joined in this conference.
The students who are interested in global/current issues were participants of this conference. I was one of them. I joined in this conference last year and it was an amazing conference which was held for getting to know world problems better. All the students were too curious about world problems frankly. Global susceptibility was the theme of ICA. The teens came to the conference with proposed solutions. Some experts who are the best in their fields gave us efficient information. Following the conference held in Istanbul, students and teachers received their certificates. On the 4th day of ICA, prom was held with the participation of students and teachers.
Hopefully, such fruitful organizations will continue to be organized.
